Like the washing machine, we all have our time.
I started to listen to you back then when you were hearing the talking of the clock, the repetitive nature of the advice doled out on the hour. It’s easy to see through this positivity. It’s easy to be negative.
Why should we trust ourselves with their emotions when we are so easily spooked? Did you see that bug? It’s massive and it seems to have a shell made out of onyx. Impossible to penetrate, I tried to kill it, I squished and then tried to pierce it with a pen and it still didn’t die.
How can we learn to become the person we want to be when all around us is the smell of failure. Age creeping up on us and making us weak, or making us distracted, or making us indifferent. Youth blinding us to our possibilities.
There used to be anger and recrimination, fighting and apologies. Now, there is just a hole. We’ve discovered a hole through therapy. There is a danger that MacAvoy is actually right.
Understanding Motivation Around Us
There is another day and another chance for us to pull together and make something bigger than the individual could imagine. Because you don’t think like me and I don’t think like you. And between us we can create something which is different to what either would create. It’s born of a feeling, of a moment in time where we are aligned.
You notice that something happens when alignment clicks into place, it becomes an impenetrable barrier to outside influence. The team fires and misfires and occasionally clicks and then suddenly you have fire sparking into life around you. We slow our metabolisms towards each other and make it clear that there is no-one else that we would rather be working with today.
The opposite of a relationship. A place where you can learn to be emotionally free.
